The Escea DF700 is a gas fireplace that is all about the flame, the fit, the flexibility and extreme functionality. The redefined retrofit gas fire. The DF700 has clean detailing and generous glass display which grants maximum flame with minimum frame. As the fireplace has the largest viewable glass in it’s category, the DF700 makes a strong statement with up to 2x more viewable glass area than similar sized competitor products. The DF700 only needs a bare minimum of cavity space, making it the perfect replacement for an old radiant space heater or an open-fronted fireplace that is built into a chimney cavity. This fireplace is easily retrofitted into a masonry cavity or a false chimney, and it’s refined styling even blends into the more traditional-looking homes. The DF700 is also a great addition into a new home build, and can easily be built into a timber cavity. The Zero Clearance rating allows this fireplace to be installed without fireproof wall linings and below a television. A wireless thermostatic remote control comes standard with this fireplace, allowing the fireplace to efficiently maintain just the right room temperature. Escea’s Smart Heat can talk to most home automation systems and allows you to operate your fireplace form anywhere there is an internet connection, at any time via the web, or Smartphone app. The Direct Vent flue system adds value once more to the DF700. With the Direct Vent flue, not one bit of room air is used for combustion. Instead, the DF700 draws clean oxygen form outside for combustion, then expels the waste exhausted air back outside via the flue. This means no more installation or running issues because of air tight new homes, and the air from the living space stays in the living space.
