Supervisor Operations & Installations HVAC

We are looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor with a good work ethic and who is customer focused to join the Woodpecker team.

ABOUT US

For over 25 years Woodpecker have been supplying and installing heating and cooling solutions along with service and repair on the Peninsula and throughout Melbourne

We specialise in Gas Log Fireplaces, Wood Combustion Heaters, Ducted Heating, Air Conditioning, Evaporative Cooling and Hydronic Systems.

We are currently looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor. Ideally you will have knowledge or experience in HVAC or plumbing. If you are from an equally fast paced customer focused service industry we would like to hear from you. Primarily the role will be based with the Operations Department currently located in Mornington.

WHO WE WANT?

This is a full time position, 5 days a week.

The Operations Supervisor needs to be a lateral thinker who can work with tight time lines, can handle a busy routine, problem solve issues, and work well in a team environment. The Operations Supervisor needs to facilitate an excellent customer experience during the installation of their Woodpecker product. The successful candidate will need a strong Trade background, preferably in Plumbing, a positive attitude and be able to communicate clearly with several departments to ensure customer satisfaction. The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for end-end coordination of all relevant trades and services to complete every Woodpecker installation to exceptional standards and timeframe.

Requirements for the role would include:

  • Contacting customers for work scheduling
  • Scheduling of customer jobs with Subcontractors, Trades and staff
  • Ensure service levels are maintained and potential problems/issues are addressed
  • Liaise with Suppliers and Storemen to ensure a successful installation of our product
  • Problem-solve day to day issues for Subcontractors, Trades and Staff
  • Work with, and lead, warehouse staff and Subcontractors to streamline the operations hub of the business
  • Develop and improve on internal operational systems for the co-ordination of installation
  • Customer service-strong communication both written and verbal
  • Skills and experience:

  • Computer Literate (preferable) in MYOB, Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Exceptional time management
  • Diary Management
  • Experience in similar role in related industry (preferable)
  • A strong Trade background or Plumbing experience is preferred, This role will suit a Tradesman or experienced plumber or if you have previously co-ordinated an operations department. Building knowledge an advantage but not essential
