Hello Brad,

I'm am just emailing quickly to let you know how impressed I was by Joel and Aaron yesterday when they installed our fireplace. It is not often that a tradesman / installer arrives on your doorstop literally on the dot, but my husband had received a phone call the day before saying that the guys would arrive at 8.00am and that is exactly when they arrived, which is no mean feat considering they had to come from the other side of the city, an impressive effort that put a smile on my face. I had hoped that we would see the "workers" by 9.00am so as you can imagine I was pleasantly surprised when they drove down my driveway.

Both guys were unfailing polite, approachable with both of them cheery and good natured as well. They worked from the moment they arrived and were on the move constantly, only stopping at around 11.00 for a quick 10 minute break, and at all times were careful an considerate of our property while lugging around the enormous pieces of the fireplace itself. What most impressed me was that upon finishing the fireplace they both stood there and looked at the job and seeing that it was slightly off kilter, pulled the entire thing apart and revealed it, not making any excuses about the hearth it was sitting in might be a bit uneven or the like.

At the end of the job as they were about to leave i had offered them a small amount of cash to stop and grab a bite to eat and drink on the way home but both declined, even though I insisted several times that they take it, and left leaving me very impressed by both of them.

I hope that you pass on my good thoughts on their thoroughness and dependability, as I believe too many people are happy to ring up and slam people if they feel that something is wrong, but never bother to ring up and praise when a job is really well done.

I will not hesitate to pass on my recommendations for Woodpecker, to friends and family if they are considering a fireplace.

Kind regards and thank you

Tracey
