The client was ecstatic with the result in which this hydronic heating was not only efficient but harmonised with the homes integrity.

Chateau Fireplace

With a very specific customer brief this fireplace was customer designed and sourced.  From the ornated mantle to the unique burner this truely made this sitting room a step over into European design and living.

As items needed to be sourced from various countries, patience and attention to detail were pivotal in this installation.  Sometimes waiting for what you really want will really set your home apart form the standard and will give a greater satisfaction to all those involved.

Contemporary Living

A freestanding Heat'n'Glo gas log fire with stainless steel facia, casing and custom stainless steel flue makes for a contemporary style and modern flair.

A raised platform lifted the fire to more of an eye lined view of the fire whilst this design also enabled the combination of entertainment systems into view.

Alfresco Living

Using a Jetmaster wood burning firebox made for a perfect alfresco area, allowing you to entertaing outside more often over the year so you can really enjoy your landscaped garden areas.

These versatile units come in a range of sizes and allow you to custom design their application - let the designer in you come out. This design incorprated the popular stack stone in grey tones.

Flinders Dining

Flinders Hotel Dining Room

With new owners it was time for the seaside village's Flinders Hotel to receive a much needed facelift.  The new owners wanted a more contemporary look but at the same time remain sympathetic to not only to the building and its area but to its valued loyal patrons.  Also at the same time creating a separate area for a more cosy dining experience.

Woodpecker visited the site over a few occasions - presented some drawings and designs and worked with the owners on the colours and stone tiles to be applied to create this look.  Three fireplaces were re-designed in total.

This fireplace is a doubled sided Jetmaster wood burning fireplace with its open sides incorporating log stackers.

Apartment Style

This fireplace is fuelled by ethanol thus requires no flueing or connections, so it is a completely freestanding individual unit.

Glass Elegance

The ultimate in sophistication and design the Dekeiser Designer Glass Fire was chosen not only for its unique appeal but so the homes all glass views could remain uninterupted. This fireplace was pivotal in its role to keep the living areas open but to add a warmth that alot of open plan living can lack.

Hong Kong Christmas

Woodpecker have been not only been supplying the beautiful Planika Ethanol fuelled fires throughout Australia but also oversea. Here is the Onyx which has been installed in an apartment in Hong Kong!!! How lovely for this family to be able to have christmas with a real fire!!.

The Wedding - GF-02

This couple were good enough to share their photos with us of their special wedding day.  Here they used the GF-02 in their ceremony by adding colour to the fuel they all added their own cup of colour to the Planika and lit the flame as a symbol of uniting the families.  This Planika now not only is a beautiful feature in their home but adds a special sentimentality each time they light it!
